Parts, Tools and Equipment Needed by the Lancaster FM104 Restoration Project

“If You’ve Got One, we Probably Need It”

Inside Lanc FM104, after she was removed from the pylon and cleaned up at the museum.
As you can see, not much was left.

When Lancaster FM104 was retired from service by the RCAF, anything that was still of use to the Air Force was of course, removed. This included most instruments and all electronic equipment. Also, of course, when the plane was converted for Marine Reconnaissance and Air-Sea Rescue the machine guns, bomb sites and bomb racks were removed. In the process of mounting the air plane on a concrete plinth, a large section of the floor over the bomb bay and part of the bomb bay doors were removed. We don’t have much of a budget for buying parts and equipment, (although, we are always open to a little horse trading…) So, if you can help us out with any of the parts, tools or equipment listed below, Or if you know of the whereabouts of anything that could have been part of a Lancaster Bomber please  contact us:  http://avrolancasterfm104.com/contact
