Veteran RAF Bomber Command Lancaster pilot and restoration volunteer Philip Gray sits in the 'office' of FM104
PLEASE HELP US
BREAKING NEWS....Sept. 21, 2011
The Lancaster FM104 Restoration Project is located in the Canadian Air & Space Museum in Toronto. The management of Parc Downsview Park, landlord of the historic hanger which houses the museum has served an eviction notice giving the museum 3-6 months to vacate in order that the hanger be torn down and replaced with a complex of 4 skating rinks. The museum houses an important collection of Canadian aviation history and our eviction would mean the end of the museum and loss of our collection. The future of FM104 along with the museum is in jeopardy. UNFORTUNATELY AS OF MARCH 22, 2012, OUR EFFORTS TO SAVE THE MUSEUM HAVE FAILED AND OUR COLLECTION MUST BE REMOVED BY MARCH 31.
